ALBUM: Oskido – Akhiwe

Oskido releases his 2019 album Akhiwe and this Oskido album is a 12 tracked album which features a number A-list South Africa artistes such as Professor, Sdudla Somdantso and Kabza De Small.

Oskido Akhiwe album can be tagged an Amapiano themed album which is arguably the hottest sound in the South Africa Music scenes.

Recording artiste and DJ Oscar Bonginkosi Mdlongwa popularly known as Oskido was born in 23 November 1967. The 52-year-old was born in the Oukasie township to a Zimbabwean father, Esaph Mdlongwa and a South African mother Emily Sophia Molefi.

Oskido, the Kalawa Jazmee boss spent most of his early life in Luveve Township, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe where he went on to finish his basic education. Oskido schooled in his father’s home country Zimbabwe, but returned to SA in 1987 where he has called home ever since.

Oskido married two wives, Sanah, and Mathapelo but was romantically involved with Kibi. Oskido has two kids with his ex wife, Sanah, three daughters, Bass Mdlongwa, Mandy Mdlongwa, and Naledi Mdongwa with Kibi and now a son with Mathapelo who was born in July 2018.

Oskido. Oskido is one of South Africa’s premier house/kwaito club and radio DJs and producers who has recently shown his love for the Amapiano style of music.

As of 2018, Oskido has an estimated net worth of $2 million, which is an estimated R28.5m. Oskido makes his riches as a recording artist, DJ, record producer and a businessman.

Following successive albums, 50 Degrees, The King Don Father 2.5, Our Father, Oskido comes through with a new album titled Akhiwe.
